ATC in Vintagestyle

Welcome!

I was inspired from the Prima 'Love Clippings collection' in this kit
and I thought this notecards are a perfect background
for a set of four Artist Trading cards (ATC).
It's one of my first tries with this amazing little size.

I created a very romantic set in vintage style and added some old photo cutout's,
the suitable chipboards (Blue Fern Studios) , butterflies dies,
some pieces of lace and gauze, bookpaper and all were only leftovers.
You need no more for this format.

you can use the notecards as basic , but also for some cutouts,
here the little roses with a clock face

clear stamps from Bella are really magic,
I think as water or dew drops for a lovely effect on your background

on the right side you can see a rub on from Prima from our January kit,
 a metallic foil accent

as well as on my last layout
I used the beautiful Magical powder from Lindys Stamp Gang
for a small gauze
it gives a wonderful altered effect

Many thanks for your visit!
Happy weekend!

When I was a little girl ...

Hello everyone!

I decided to make a vintage layout with 'Our Story' February Kit
for our DT Scrap of Darkness.
It's a wonderful memory on my childhood  at the tender age of 3 years with my grandparents
who are died far too early.
They always took me to her garden in a little wooden handcart,
where I was able to observe all the little nature things, florets, bugs, ants and butterflies.

I used a paper from the wonderful Blue Fern Studios' Memoirs collection
 as background,
the colors were perfect for my vintage layout.
The work with the milk chocolate powder from Lindy's stamp gang was really 'Magical' unexpected color effects occur, fascinating!!

  Floral Add On

some details

I used the Magical powder also for gauze

wonderful flowers from the Floral Add On,
flowers, leaves and the suitable butterfly are from 49 Market
I love this smart color

Rainbow Colors

Welcome!

I was inspired from the theme by 13arts

our weather is grey, wet and creepy - the best time for crafting :-)
yes, and I need colors and sunshine!
that makes good mood, or?!

As I was a child I've loved it to make soap bubbles,
I could spend hours with it.
That was my inspiration for my new little mixed media home decor piece.
Funny, cheerfully and in the colors of a rainbow.

thats my heat tool, because without this tool I cannot exist,
the reason is -  I'm a very impatient person -

Happy sunday my friends!

Carpe Diem with CCB

Welcome!

My idea was to create a diary cover in mixed media style
with a broken heart, but patched and almost healed.

used materials

how I made the mixed media background can you see
HERE

Tips to styrofoam heart

  •  it’s a half styrofoam piece and I inked this with Glimmer Mist ‘Cross My Heart’ and ‘Crimson’
  • Use a black permanent marker and make some points (4 for patch and 10 for seam)
  • Glue a little piece old bookpaper as patch and draw some lines
  • Make a little crack with cutting knife
  • Use a needle and black yarn and connected the points it’s a very special effect

Happy weekend!

Create with Joy

Welcome everybody!
A new project for our SASPC
with our monthly theme

and as always it is an "anything goes"
as long as it is somehow steampunk or industrial style-ish

my idea was to use an old book box for a new home decor piece
 with my new gentleman chipboard,
I love this man with
top hat :-)

I decided to create with a faux paint rust technique,
so I used some acrylic paints together with a texture paste from DecoArt
which you can see here

black tissue paper as basic and then added snow tex
for an interesting structure surface

if you need more informations, how i made this
please ask me!
