12 Tags of 2016 March

Welcome everyone!

I'm a little bit late this month, april is coming soon,
nature is awaking from hibernation, spring has come!
and so I thought on Rain & Sunshine
and the saying
"April showers bring may flowers"

"April, April der weiß nicht, was er will.
Mal Regen und mal Sonnenschein,
dann hagelt's wieder zwischendrein"

Have a nice easter sunday!

Let's go into the spring

Welcome!
today a new Layout for Le Tresors de luxe
I choose the shabby chic vintage style with an old photo from my dad.
He was 3 years old and totally enthused to swing the brooms to spring clean.
Today that is no longer the case, unfortunately ;-)

Gothic necklace

Welcome friends!
today a new inspiration for you and our Steampunk Challenge month theme

Anything goes Steampunk/ Industrial

I love it to try new techniques and so I decided to use a wonderful black lace and some metal embellishments together to a necklace in gothic style.

My friend has wanted a new necklace suitable to her steampunk outfit and i thought,
ups I have not yet done, but I will try it!

and I must say, it wasn't easy for me,  it was very fiddly!
oh, oh  I had to leave my comfort zone
 again and again :-)

but now it's finished
and I'm really happy about it :-)

.
My  teamies at SASPC have come up with many inspiring and different  versions
on the theme this time.
Please pop on over and have fun!!
Lucky winners will win a prize from our  sponsor

Celebrate Springtime

Welcome !

today a new project for Le Tresors de Luxe .
It's a shadow frame in altered art.

When the first birds are twittering and
the nature is awaking from hibernation,
 spring has come!

that was in my mind as I saw our moodboard this month

my inspiration was the nature feeling in colors brown and green

for the background I used old bookpaper, a stamp from La Blanche
and  a stencil with white gesso.

a mixture by beautiful organza spring flowers and laces
and a little bunny (cut out black paper)

3D butterfly a print out with old bookpaper
crackle effects on frame with crackle paint

 materials, which I have used
can you see here

Thanks for your visit!
Happy crafting!

Colorful world

Welcome crafty friends!

My favorite work is to try new things and to leave my comfort zone, because where is the creativity, if you do always the same?!
Yes, I love the grungy industrial  and delicate romantic colors , mostly
tone in tone or how my dad says
harmoniously :-)
but I'm also a girl, which is inspired by nature
and so I wanted to make a project with rainbow theme.
For such experiences I always like to use my art journal book.

used materials

not the best photo I'm afraid, but it's really difficult with black background paper

can you see my shadow face?
it was made with a stencil and metallic lustre silver and my fingers

for the other stencils I used modeling or texture paste

rainbow color circle with shimmer mists and a selfmade masking template
in centre another face stencil
i love this faces, because I'm not the biggest painter

my thoughts behind this project
The world is colorful
Let's inspire!

Challenges
I choose a new colorful technique with spray paints and a mask
Happy weekend!
